Second, the problem can stimulate students to learn new knowledge through self-exploration with the knowledge or existing experience they have learned. Third, the problem can be applied in future evaluation or practice. By exemplifying the example of Stanford University's PBL teaching class, Wang Wei said that the PBL teaching method is based on the problem, with students as the main body, and the ability to cultivate students as the teaching goal.

Later, Wang Hao compared the difference between the traditional classroom and the PBL teaching method classroom. Compared with traditional classrooms, classrooms using PBL pedagogy can enhance learning fun, promote deep learning, and promote communication and collaboration skills. Wang Wei encouraged the teachers present to integrate the PBL teaching method into the teaching activities, and to teach and learn in the way of exploratory learning practice.
