Version 1.5 supports the most important international standard G7 proof to print proofing to print process control and next-generation color transfer file format CxF
The world leader in color technology, X-Rite Inc. (Booth No. 5, Booth D02) recently released the IntelliTrax version 1.5, the fastest automated color management scanning solution for printing control in the printing industry. The new version currently supports the most important international standard G7 proof to print proofing to print process control and the next-generation color transfer file format CxF. IntelliTrax version 1.5 was first shown at the Xerox booth at drupa 2008.
Designed for high-end, high-speed printing processes, IntelliTrax automatically scans a typical press color strip (including spot, non-process, and paper colors) in seconds and reports the results immediately on the screen, enabling printing operations. The staff can quickly make adjustments and get approved colors faster. This makes possible faster typesetting adjustments, improved quality control, and ultimately increased ROI.
IntelliTrax version 1.5 now fully supports G7 proof to print proofing to print process control steps. Thanks to a large number of new G7-adaptive features, IntelliTrax v1.5 can perform color detection on G7-specified targets, display graphs to show performance against G7 targets, and indicate the inks that need to be changed to achieve these goals, while providing complete G7 adaptation Sex report. The new version of IntelliTrax also enables the detection of P2P targets into the IDEALink curve software provided by IDEAlliance to take advantage of the advanced ICC mode.
David Steinhardt, President and CEO of IDEAlliance, stated: "The use of automated color management tools is critical to the successful execution of G7 proof to print proofing to the printing process. They not only provide a way to maintain and monitor the calibration process. It also ensures accurate and traceable data at all times, thus improving the overall workflow. X-Rite's certification of the G7 process is raising the bar in the industry.â€
IntelliTrax version 1.5 has a new library of integrated standards that allows customers to select the standards they require by selecting the appropriate screen icons and ensure that the entire color management workflow is fully compliant to meet its regional requirements. IntelliTrax version 1.5 also currently supports CxF, an open file format designed to accurately and clearly transfer all the important business elements of color through different devices, applications, industries, and geographies.
The new version of IntelliTrax also includes a number of enhancements, including the trend report feature, which allows users to evaluate trends on the job and check print performance at any time. Therefore, if there is a problem in the print job, the print operator can see the instruction at a glance. The new "Best Color Match" feature will alert the user and give advice on how to adjust the ink to get the best color faster, while maintaining the color and ink of the target before the visible color conversion.
