DP/HDTDR-200 is a portable cable fault locator that integrates low-voltage pulse reflection method, pulse current method and stable arc method. It adopts 8.4-inch TFT color liquid crystal display and touch screen operation mode. It can directly read data waveform through USB interface. The instrument can store 600 cable fault waveforms, featuring convenient carrying, simple use, convenient operation and large screen display.

Low-voltage pulse reflection method: used alone, can locate open circuit and low resistance fault of cable, measure cable length or verify cable wave speed, and can also be used to identify cable intermediate joint or T joint.
Pulse current method: With high-voltage pulse power supply, high-resistance, low-resistance and flashover faults can be located (flashover faults can also be matched with DC sources).
Stable arc method (similar to arc emission method, multiple pulse method): cooperate with HDBM-30/4 power supply to compare the waveform changes before and after the breakdown arc, and automatically find the breakdown point, which basically solves the high resistance type. The problem of positioning of the flashover type breakdown point.
