Top Tray M trays from Huhtamaki Oyj

Modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) can extend the shelf life of fresh foods such as meat, cheese, baked goods, fresh fruit, and vegetables to avoid deterioration, thus playing an increasingly important role in the market. Huhtamaki Oyj recently developed a fresh food package and introduced a Top Tray packaging tray with a new hygroscopic atmosphere modified package. Top Tray M+ packaging trays came into being, driven by industrial packaging, extended shelf life, and enhanced aesthetic appeal. This new packaging tray is suitable for both frozen foods and fresh foods. The packaging tray has an open-cell structure made of expanded polystyrene that absorbs moisture and does not require the use of a separate absorbent pad that was previously required for certain applications. Top Tray M trays are laminated with EVOH/PE and have excellent barrier properties. The wide mouth of the packing plate has a good sealing effect and fixing effect, and is particularly suitable for modified atmosphere packaging.
