A brand new patented dental toothpaste formula promises "celebrity star power and a white smile". Since late November of this year, shopkeepers at Victoria's Secret's 71 flagship stores have been able to purchase a new toothpaste that uses an advanced whitening formula. The toothpaste was developed by Dr. Debra Glassman, a cosmetic dentist in Manhattan, USA. His clients include celebrities in the entertainment industry, such as Jessica Simpson, Randy Jackson, and Usher. Starbrite Whitening Toothpaste uses colorful pink toothpaste tubes and toothpaste cartridges designed to match the Victoria`s Secret pink shop. Most other whitening toothpaste packaging looks more like medical products, and Starbrite's pink color design is different from them. The reason why this color tone is chosen is mainly due to one reason: Highlight the characteristics of the product's cosmetics. This colorful pink package was designed by Moxie(TM) and features the letter “a†in the Starbrite logo replaced by a large silver star. The star became a trademark mark. In addition, other small silver stars are dotted around the package. The back of the package is printed with the words "for a white celebrity smile", Dr. Glassman's photo and her autograph. Inside, the carton is printed with red and black leopard prints. In addition, Moxie will also distribute its designed full-size packs to each consumer who purchased the product in selected Victoria`s Secret stores between November and December.
By January 2007, the product will be sold in all Victoria`s Secret stores for $6.99. In the future, the product line will be expanded to match the pink mouthwash and dental floss products.
The Venetian and Wynn hotels in Las Vegas will also put Starbrite toothpaste in their rooms and sell them in their hotel shop. .
