1. Add dry oil to the ink
Special paper with a particularly smooth surface, poor ink absorption, and scratching when not paying attention to it when printing. Therefore, it is better to use a quick-drying ink, and to add a drying oil which can promote the rapid drying of the ink in each color ink, to improve the drying speed of the ink, and to avoid the paper surface sticky fault when printing.
2. Strict control of plant temperature and humidity
Compared with coated paper and matte paper, the filling materials and composition of special paper are different. If the temperature and humidity of the factory are not well controlled, the paper may be deformed and the overprinting may be inaccurate. Generally, when printing on special paper, the temperature of the plant should be controlled at 20 to 24 ° C and the humidity should be controlled at 60 to 70%. When the plant humidity is less than 40%, some special paper will curl around the paper in about 10 minutes, which is easy to cause printing and paper feeding difficulties. Therefore, the paper should be wrapped in a plastic film immediately after being cut and placed in a warehouse with appropriate temperature and humidity. At the same time, it is necessary to keep the temperature and humidity of the printing plant stable and suitable.
3. Different special papers have different ink amounts
For special papers with high surface smoothness, such as pearl paper, Yinyi ice white paper, high color smooth paper, cool ice white paper, etc., the ink color should not be too saturated during printing, and the normal ink supply amount can be used. Because the smoother the surface of the paper, the poorer the ink absorbing property, the larger the amount of ink supplied, the more likely the paper back is dirty.
Special paper with rough surface, such as handkerchief paper, golden sun double adhesive tape, sandalwood rice paper, kraft paper, high singer paper, oriental writing paper, Daolin paper, etc., feels grainy and not smooth. When printing, the paper absorbs ink well, and the ink penetrates into the grain of the paper. After the ink is dried, the color of the printed product observed with the naked eye becomes lighter and the printing quality is also lowered. Therefore, for this special paper, the amount of ink supplied during printing is larger than usual, and the saturation requirement is also higher.
4. Pay attention to the dirty back
Compared with ordinary paper, the special paper has a slightly larger static electricity, and it is easy to adsorb the dust and dirt of the paper roller. I have encountered similar failures: there are 1000 special paper prints on the back that absorb the aisle scum, and there is smudging, but it was not found because the length of the printing time was neglected, resulting in 1000 special paper printing products becoming waste, loss Thousands of dollars. Therefore, the captain must pay attention to whether the back of the paper is clean when printing. If the dirt is absorbed, clean the paper transfer roller and its aisle according to the location of the dirt.
5. The amount of powder spray should be suitable
Different special papers have different ink absorbing properties, and the demand for powder spraying is also different. The smoother the surface of the paper, the worse the ink absorbing property, and the larger the amount of powder to be sprayed; the coarser the paper, the stronger the ink absorbing property, and the smaller the amount of powder to be sprayed. In order to prevent the paper from getting dirty during printing, some captains will adjust the amount of powder to be very large, but this is wrong. Because under normal circumstances, after the completion of printing of special paper, it is necessary to go through multiple post-press processing steps, such as embossing, hot stamping, embossing, laminating, etc. If the amount of powder sprayed during printing is too large, it will produce post-press processing. The effect, such as the film can not be covered. Therefore, according to experience, in the case of ensuring that the paper is not sticky, the amount of powder sprayed is as small as possible to facilitate post-press processing.
6. The paper conveying side blocking board should not be clamped too tightly.
In order to keep the prints neat, the paper-receiving side-shield paperboard is usually pinched slightly, and common paper such as coated paper and matte paper can be operated in this way. However, the special paper is easy to be dirty, and the side paperboard is too tightly clamped to make the back paper dirty when the special paper moves back and forth. Therefore, the paper conveying side paperboard should not be too tightly clamped, as long as the paper can be slightly tidy.
