Some Fed officials are optimistic about the economic outlook

Xinhua News Agency in New York on February 15 led by the rise in technology stocks, the vast majority of stock indexes in the New York stock market rose on the 15th. Some technology stocks rose sharply after some Fed officials expressed optimism about the economic outlook and telecom equipment maker Sinar reported a five-fold increase in its quarterly profit. Sinar shares rose 16% to reach $89 per share.

The Standard & Poor's 500 stock index, the New York Stock Exchange Composite Index and the Russell 2000 index representing small companies all rose, but the US stock exchange market price index fell slightly.

The ratio of rising stocks to declining stocks on the New York Stock Exchange was 6 to 5, and the trading volume increased from 1.11 billion in the previous trading day to 1.12 billion. (Finish)
