On the experience of using Heidelberg M600 commercial rotary machine

Nowadays, people's requirements for printed products are gradually increasing, and processing cycle requirements are getting shorter and shorter. Commercial rotary offset presses meet people's requirements for high quality and high efficiency. In the actual use of Heidelberg M600 commercial rotary machine, I summarized the experience of using bits and pieces for the reference of colleagues.

1. Avoiding moisture absorption and breaking of paper tape

The breakage of the paper tape here does not mean that the paper tape suddenly breaks from somewhere during normal printing, but it refers to the surface temperature of the cooling roller of the commercial rotary machine due to the high external temperature when the plate is shut down during hot summer months when the plate is changed Low, so a lot of water has condensed on its surface, the paper tape on the surface of the cooling roller is quickly wetted by the condensed water, and the paper tape is easily broken here when it is turned on again.

After several attempts, I found a solution. Ten minutes before the plate change, first shut down the refrigeration system. When the plate is changed during shutdown, since the temperature difference between the inside and the outside is not large, there will be no condensate on the surface of the cooling roller, and it will not cause the paper tape to absorb water and break easily.

2. Trouble shooting

When printing 880mm octagonal prints at one time, the process sheet requires that the folding edges are staggered by 1cm to receive the post. When adjusting and printing according to the process requirements, a page jam occurs as soon as the machine speed rises to 20,000 sheets per hour, and each time it occurs at the upper belt of the lower paper fence.

At the beginning, the operator thought that the tension on both sides of the belt was inconsistent, resulting in inconsistent falling speeds on both sides of the page. After adjusting the belt tension and then turning on, there was no improvement; change the position of the page and the belt, so that the belt on both sides of the page was centered and still did not improve; Also adjusted the time of the page column, after many fine-tuning, the machine speed can basically reach more than 30,000 sheets / hour. However, when the 890mm octave printing was changed in the future, serious page jamming failures still occurred. After adjusting the time of the flower bar, the fault was eliminated. However, when printing 787mm octagonal prints, it is still necessary to adjust the column time to eliminate page jams.

The operator analyzes and believes that the key to troubleshooting is to adjust the time of page out and column time accurately. Although the faults of page plugging have been temporarily eliminated, the time adjustment of page out and column time is still not ideal. After fumbling, when the placard is about to separate from the pulley belt, it will stop, loosen the page flower column, adjust the fastening screws, turn the flower column, so that the upper part of the flower column just touches the page post at about 5cm, and tighten the fastening screw , Start-up printing, printing paper of the above three specifications no longer has a page jam problem, even if the paper specifications change, you don't need to adjust the time of the column.
