They are 100Mpa higher than the tensile strength and bending strength of the reinforced PP, and the impact strength is 10MJ/m2. The impact strength is 3 times that of the short glass fiber reinforced PBT, because the glass fiber in the Celstran is completely along the The particles are arranged in the length direction and are about 11mm long, whereas the length in traditional glass fiber reinforced compounds is only about 2mm. According to Ticona, the use of suitable resins and proprietary compounds is easy to process, with minimal warpage and excellent surface quality. In addition, Celstran is easy to color and provides a better primer and bonding bond for PP than PP. At present, the product has a natural color and black color, and can also be color-matched according to customer requirements. The application targets are automotive underbody components and industrial components. Vetrotex launched Twintex in 2002 and began supplying only the United States. The first industrial application was the co-extrusion of window profile with PVC (polyvinyl chloride). The Twintex was made with the Ulextrusion Vetrotrx process developed by the company. The core of the profile, instead of steel as reinforcing material, generally the core of the PVC window frame profile - steel is embedded in the profile after extrusion of the profile, Twintex prices are much more expensive than steel, but the total cost of preparation is basically the same, because with Twintex The production process is highly efficient and, in addition, thermal adhesion does not occur with Twintex profiles. Twintex's impact properties are the same as those of long-glass-reinforced PP, but its strength, fatigue resistance and heat resistance are much better. Not only can it be compared to long glass-reinforced PA (nylon), but also to glass-reinforced thermoset PET sheets. Molding materials, aluminum and steel are comparable. Vetrotex expects Twintex to be used as a structural component for automobiles. Because of its temperature (heat) resistance, it can be adapted to the high-temperature painting process of today's automobiles and used as an eye-reading component. Potential applications in the future are sports and leisure facilities, that is, products that require high fatigue resistance and rigidity, and can also be used to prepare electronic and windmill components.
