Latest packaging material helps increase shelf life of cheese

The famous Cryovac company has produced a new type of cheese packaging material that can replace the traditional airbag packaging and plastic packaging, and extend the shelf life of cheese. For example: Swiss (porky) cheese, Dutch cheese, Gorgonzola cheese, produces carbon dioxide after packaging, and cheese requires a certain amount of oxygen to exchange the carbon dioxide, because carbon dioxide can destroy the flavor of cheese, while the excess oxygen It will shorten the shelf life of cheese.

Cryovac claims that its new packaging can limit oxygen intake, stop cheese bubbles, and allow carbon dioxide to be exchanged out of the bag so that the cheese matures better after packaging. Thus the cheese has a natural flavor and the color does not change.

The company is a subsidiary of the famous Sealed Air company, has more than 3,000 employees and has factories all over the world.
