Recently, the National Torch Project Foshan New Material Industry Base passed the demonstration review. The Yongjiang Industrial Park (East Park), which covers an area of ​​58 square kilometers, thus became the second national Torch Program New Materials Industrial Base in Guangdong Province (another base in Zhanjiang). The demonstration was co-organized by the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Provincial Department of Science and Technology. Prior to this, the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology had already passed the prequalification of the project. According to the “National Torch Program New Material Industrial Base Certification Method,” the experts participating in the meeting will conduct an argumentation review of the new material industry base.
The National Torch Program Foshan New Materials Industrial Base includes Chancheng District, Nanhai District, Shunde District, Sanshui District, and Gaoming District. According to the plan, the base will form a high-performance structural material and special functional materials by 2010. It is suitable for the market operation mechanism and integrates research and development, achievement transformation and application as a whole. It is an industrial base for high-tech and new materials that realizes annual sales revenue of new materials of 63 billion yuan and profits and taxes of 14.5 billion yuan.
The newly planned development park is located in the Yongjiang Industrial Park (East Park) in Gaoming District, covering an area of ​​58 square kilometers. It is estimated that by 2010, Gaoming will invest 10 billion yuan to construct the infrastructure of the park, realize the industrial output value of new materials of 20 billion yuan, sales revenue of 18 billion yuan, profits and taxes of 4 billion yuan, and the formation of more than 4 billion yuan of enterprises in the park, 5 More than 8 million enterprises.
Foshan currently has 20 key enterprises of new materials, including plastics, aluminum profiles, architectural ceramics, and coatings. These enterprises achieved a total sales income of 145 billion yuan in 2001, and the new materials industry has become a new economic growth point in Foshan. The representative Blue Arrow Electronics Co., Ltd. produces a new type of microelectronics material called "Semiconductor Chip Transistor". This material is an important component for the production of color TV sets, stereos, and telephones, etc. There are few manufacturers of triodes.
