The light decomposition process Hi-Cone has taken environmental issues into consideration when designing plastic ferrules. When the plastic ferrule is exposed to the sun's ultraviolet rays, the ferrule gradually becomes brittle. After the natural forces of wind, rain or waves, the ferrule splits into non-toxic fragments. This process greatly reduces the risk of waste and trapping wild animals.
