Analyze problems based on quality feedback from customers and formulate quality control measures

There have been such quality problems: During the use process, customers found beer cartons produced by us. In the mildew season, the cartons were often subject to warping and deformation, and the compressive strength of cartons decreased significantly. We complained about this quality problem. . We conducted inspections, analysis and research through in-depth observation and extraction of physical objects to identify causes and problems. First of all, we check the inspection data of the lab's base paper. The results show that the technical indicators of the corrugated paper and liner board are higher than the standard values, especially the lateral pressure index that is related to the strength of the carton. no problem. Then, where is the problem? After the detection and comparison of the carton, we found the following: After the surface of the paper layer in the carton was dripping, the water droplets quickly appeared in the cartons. The carton felt a little soft when touched. The compressive strength of the test is also low. Conversely, the water box is not susceptible to seepage. The touch feel of the carton is also hard and the compressive strength is high. In addition, the moisture-absorbing carton has a relatively high moisture content. The test data analysis shows that the poor sizing of the base paper can make the carton easy to absorb moisture, increase the moisture content and become soft, and the carton is prone to deformation phenomena, resulting in a decrease in compressive strength. According to our testing and analysis, we formulated the corresponding raw material quality control standards, and adopted a simple “drip method” to detect the water absorption and sizing degree of the base paper. The test standard requirement is ≥60S, that is, water drops to paper. After the surface, there should be no seepage in the standard time. On the other hand, we also control the horizontal stiffness, surface roughness, and water absorption of preprinted whiteboard papers, and emphasize the control requirements of these technical indicators when signing purchase contracts. At the same time using high-bright glazing oil coating, so that the carton is not easy to appear moisture absorption phenomenon. Through data analysis, we have adopted appropriate process control measures so that the quality of the base paper is better controlled and the strength and quality of the carton have been significantly improved.

Through testing and comparative analysis, a scientific and reasonable inspection method shall be established to ensure the quality of raw materials

Raw materials are the source of product quality. It is very important to do inspection and control. To this end, our factory has purchased ISD-3 electronic compressive strength tester, YQ-ZB-8 paper and paperboard folding resistance instrument, ZUS-20 type thickness meter and other testing instruments, which can detect adhesive strength and side pressure strength. , Ring pressure strength, bending degree, tightness and other technical indicators. However, with the detection instrument does not mean that the product quality is accurately controlled, and only to improve the accuracy of the test, can we better achieve the purpose of quality control. Then, how can we improve the accuracy of the test? According to the requirements of relevant national standards, the test sample must be subjected to constant temperature and humidity treatment for a certain period of time under specific environmental conditions, so that the performance of the base paper can be relatively stable and constant at the constant temperature. Testing under constant humidity conditions can obtain relatively accurate detection results. In fact, it is very difficult to do this for raw material inspections. Often only the method of sampling or inspection of the base paper can be used. Such detection results and the detection results under constant temperature and humidity conditions may have certain errors in the side pressure strength and the ring pressure strength, etc. It will be a little lower than the norm. In response to this phenomenon, we developed a scientific and reasonable method of detection through comparative analysis and analysis. The main approach is to divide the same piece of paper into two parts, which are arranged to be tested under two conditions, one by our laboratory. Self-testing under natural conditions, the other is to send the paper samples to the laboratory of a professional institution under standard conditions, after the paper samples are subjected to constant temperature and humidity testing, and then the data of these two test results are analyzed and compared. Find the difference between the two, we call it the detection coefficient. For example, in the case of detecting a lateral pressure index index project for a certain type of paper, the result of a professional laboratory test is 6.84 Nm/g, and the result of the test adopted by the factory is 5.7 Nm/g, and the detection coefficient is 1.2. The formula is: the value of the professional laboratory test value and the self-test of our factory. After many such contrast detection experiments, the average value of the detection coefficient is determined as our standard detection coefficient. In this way, the value of the cyclic pressure index measured by our laboratory in conventional conditions multiplied by the standard detection coefficient is our more accurate test result. Through the above comparison test and data analysis developed standard test coefficients, so that our test has a certain degree of accuracy and fairness, the test results have also been approved by the supplier, and better play a role in controlling the quality of the original paper.

Analyze the production process of single-sided machine through analysis of inspection data and improve the quality of single-sided corrugated cardboard

The strength of corrugated board is an important factor in determining the quality of the carton. The corrugation height of the corrugated board, the number of turns in the unit of 30cm length, and the waveform characteristics of the corrugated medium are important conditions affecting the strength of the corrugated board. Due to the structural characteristics of corrugated board, the corrugation rate of the unit of length is determined. The competition in the carton industry requires the production of carton boxes whose quality meets the standards on the basis of the most economical use of materials. So, how can we do it? We decided to start with a corrugating roller that used paper and improved the production process. Based on the fact that we have two single-faced corrugators, one of them (the No. 1 machine) has severely damaged jaw rolls and needs to replace the new roll. Therefore, when we make a new corrugating roll, we directly customize the corrugating roll as: 48 teeth / 30cm (the number of corrugated teeth per unit length); tile roller roll tooth height 2.9mm (that is, the distance from the concave surface to the convex surface), more than the original number of teeth 4 teeth, while the tooth height slightly reduced, However, it is still within the standard range. Our other unit (2# machine) is: 44 teeth/30cm; tile roller roll tooth height is 3.12mm. In this way, under the same process conditions, environment, and paper quality of the two single-faced corrugated units of the same model, we conducted several production tests, comparative analysis of tests, and obtained the following production process conclusions: The tooth has 4 more teeth than the 2# machine, but the tooth height is 0.22mm lower than that of the 2# machine. In this way, the machine 2m corrugated paper can be used to mold 1.405m corrugated board. The 2m machine 2m corrugated paper can only be formed 1.385m corrugated cardboard, and the machine produced corrugated cardboard edge pressure strength, adhesive strength and plane compressive strength values ​​are lower than 1# machine. It can be seen that No. 1 machine not only saves paper than No. 2 machine, but also produces high quality corrugated board. Therefore, we plan to replace the corrugating roll of No. 2 machine with the same specification as No. 1 machine at the appropriate time. Improve single-sided corrugated board product quality.
