Anheng City, a precedent for recycling baby diapers

The city of Anhang in the Netherlands will recently launch a plan to recycle baby diapers.

Parents in the city sealed their diapers in plastic bags and dropped them into special trash cans outside the two infant institutions. They also hired a local recycling company to remove wood pulp and plastic from the paper diapers.

Canadian subsidiary Knowaste BV stated that the plan has been fully launched since the end of the year and they expect to receive 200,000 kilograms of diapers per year from 40 trash bins in Anheng City; hopefully, within two years, the diapers will be able to be recycled in the same way as glass and cans. , And it's all automated and computerized.
