Analyze the silk screen printing technology

The print is composed of dots, which are the pixels of the printed image. According to the color theory, colors have three properties of hue, lightness, and saturation. The yellow, magenta, and blue three originals are superimposed together. By changing the size or coverage of the dots, thousands of different colors can be formed.
Simply saying that hanging nets is to divide the manuscript (consecutive tone) into smaller dots (halftones) of different size and density. As long as the proper combination of the three original points can be used to simulate the original color and tone.
Because the dots of different sizes are printed at different angles or close together, under the effect of light, the ink on the dots selectively absorbs and reflects the light, and the reflected part of the rays passes through the space and mixes. The sensation of human color causes the illusion of the human eye to appear like a continuous tone.
In fact, the space occupied by each dot on screen printing products is equal. The difference in color tone seen by people is due to the difference in the size of the space occupied by each dot. The shades of tone are: It is determined by the reflected light intensity of the dot space.
Printed image The number of screen lines refers to the number of screen lines per inch in the horizontal or vertical direction. The unit of the number of hanging lines is Line/Inch, or LPI for short. For example: 100Lpi means that there are 100 network cables per inch. To screen images, the larger the number of linked screens, the more network cables, the denser the network points, and the richer the level of expression.
In evaluating the quality of color-graded screen prints, the copy quality of outlets is the most important indicator. Among them are many standards related to the quality of print reproduction, in addition to the five variables in screen printing (scraper hardness, screen pitch, printing speed, squeegee pressure, and ink suitability), as well as the influence of substrates and people.
Ink uniformity, dot distortion, and ghosting on prints are all related to the control of outlets. Therefore, the number of screens in the color gradation screen printing is affected by these factors. In the past, the number of screens used for offset printing to images was generally 175 lines. Screen printing is more difficult to control than offset printing. Some people use 120 lines and generally have 80 lines. -100 between.
In many cases, blindly increasing the number of dot lines will lead to a decrease in the quality of the dots without improving the quality of the dots.
The dot increase rule with different dot lines: When the dot percentage is the same, the dot gain value is the same. The higher the dot dot number is, the bigger the dot gain rate is. The new screening technology that comes with it now enables 300 lpi or even higher screening lines at an output resolution of 2400 dpi.

Types of brushes
There are so many many brushes:washes/glazes, rounds, flats, filberts and liners and more. Choosing the right type for the technique is important. Let`s look at the different types.

Flat Brushes
Flats are brushes with a straight chisel edge and square shaped filaments. These can be known as shades if they`re in smaller sizes and washes/glazes if in bigger sizes. Large areas are painted with a wash/glaze brush whereas smaller flats are used for small areas of painting

Round brushes
Round brushes have a large diameter of the ferrule, more so than a liner, which can be used for applying thick to thin lines, filling in odd shaped areas, painting details and work great for lettering. Liners don`t hold as much paint as a round, however, they are super great for creating lines or curves. Script liners are similar to liners but the filaments are much longer and hold more paint. A round brush tapers to a pointed tip – several types of rounds are referred to rounds, liners or script liners. Angle brushes are filaments that have been cut on an angle – these are excellent to use in small or curved areas of the painting.

Filberts
Brushes with oval shaped filaments are known as filberts in smaller sizes and oval wash in larger sizes. Both shapes can be used for base coating, stroke work and more. There are filbert combs, filbert wash and more.

Mop Brushes
Then there are mop brushes–great for blending and smoothing out small areas. They`re also ideal for applying powdered pigments–just dust them lightly over hot or tacky wax.

Specialty Brushes
Then there are all the speciality brushes on the market used for certain techniques and garner their own results–fan, deer-foot, stumbler, mops, stencil and more
